Vintage FAO Schwarz empty COUNTRY MOUSE HOUSE by STEIFF

Description

Offered is a vintage portable wooden Country Mouse House that measures 13" wide x 7" high x 5" deep.  The green painted top has a rope handle for easy transport, the sides are painted with a repeated white flower motif along the bottom border, there is a round entrance hole at the back and there is a little latch to open an shut the two hinged front doors.  The interior has a tin window at the back, an attached shelf on each door and an attached bed shelf.  There are no mouse critters or furnishings.  Everything appears to be in very good played with condition with intact wood and paint and working latch and hinges.  Very cute, made in 1940s-50s by Steiff for distribution by FAO Schwarz.
