1958 Steiff Laika Spitz dog, cute! with button, no tag or collar

A rare Steiff dog, this is
Laika, the Russian space dog.  Made for only one year,
1958-1959 so, the short production run makes this a rare Steiff dog.
She is the smaller of the two sizes made, approximately 7 inches tall if her ears are up, by about 7 inches long.  In excellent old condition with little wear, clean and still cute.  The original Steiff button is in her left ear but no paper tag or collar.
